MCM’s "Pag Tayo Ay Matanda Na" Draws Overwhelming Crowd
MUNTINLUPA CITY – In a remarkable display of commitment to community health and education, Medical Center Muntinlupa (MCM) hosted the inaugural session of its community lecture series, titled "Pag Tayo Ay Matanda Na" last November 25, 2023. The event, which focused on women's health and aging, was moderated by the esteemed Dr. Fitz Zarate and featured insightful talks by renowned experts, Dr. Janice Halum and Dr. Robert Chan.
The lecture series aimed to address crucial aspects of aging, bringing attention to topics such as "Menopause and the Breast" by Dr. Janice Halum and "Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis" by Dr. Robert Chan. Over 160 enthusiastic members of the MCM patient community attended the event, showcasing the community's keen interest in proactive health management.
The overwhelming response to the lecture series was evident with lines stretching through the Outpatient Department (OPD) department as attendees eagerly awaited their turn to secure a seat. The palpable anticipation underscored the community's eagerness for engaging and informative healthcare discussions.
As part of MCM's commitment to holistic patient care, attendees were provided with free bone density tests to assess bone health, along with complimentary calcium and milk samples to support their nutritional needs. Additionally, patients had the unique opportunity to join the distinguished doctors for a communal lunch, fostering an environment of open dialogue and community bonding.
