DENR Recognizes MCM for Sustainable, Eco-Friendly Practices

Medical Center Muntinlupa ushered in the New Year with three recognitions from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, mainly identifying the organization’s consistent compliance with DENR regulations and pollution control measures, that have allowed it to operate in a sustainable and environmentally-friendly way.

In a certification issued to the hospital, MCM was cited for its consistent compliance with the requirements of the Philippine Environmental Impact Statement System, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Toxic Substances and Hazardous Wastes Act, and the Ecological Solid Waste Management System Act.

Two MCM executives, namely Managing Head Mrs. Felygien Dalida and Pollution Control Officer Engr. Angelito Narvaez, were also specially recognized for their efforts in consistent reporting and quality management, and effective strategies at mitigating and working to eliminate relative pollution.

As Southern Manila’s pioneer tertiary care hospital, MCM continues to lead the way in ensuring that its essential healthcare operations remain sustainable, environmentally friendly, and healthy for its surrounding communities.
